Objectives – e-Commerce Skills

The main aim of e-Commerce project and its partnership is to upgrade the skills of e-commerce operators in times of crisis and to support SMEs from isolated/rural areas in the transition to sustainability, digitization and economic growth through:

positive impact on the current and medium-term needs of the e-commerce sector in terms of knowledge, skills, and competences
to support rural/isolated areas to develop appropriately the e-commerce sector as possible measure for overcoming some of the COVID-19 negative consequences
to ensure effective cooperation between vocational education and training providers and e-commerce companies in planning and providing trainings
to build European vocational education and training excellence e-commerce network which should support the development of the rapidly growing e-commerce sector in Europe.

3rd Transnational e-Commerce Project Meeting in Latvia

Ogre technical school hosted the 3rd transnational meeting of the project partners in Ogre on 25-26 April 2023. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the issues of already completed project activities, the development of intellectual results, and deadlines.

During the meeting, the developed results of IO2 were presented – module training programs and training content, the representative of each partner presented the prepared training materials, and discussed questions about the development of the training platform, its design, and structure.

During the meeting partners discussed the objectives and results achieved so far, planning future project activities, and discussing financial questions.

In order to get to know the culture and history of Latvia, the participants of the meeting had the opportunity to learn more and explore Old Riga.
