The course we propose concerns communication both as a theoretical activity and as a practical activity. In the general context of an in-depth study of the disciplines necessary for preparing students in the communicator profession, this course aims to form the following specific competencies:
- The ability to identify phenomena and processes with a communicative character within the conceptual framework specific to social and human sciences;
- The use of analysis and interpretation tools specific to communication sciences for general and applied theoretical characterisation of a problem;
- Explanation of phenomena, processes, events of a communicative nature by means of the proposed analysis and interpretation models;
- Interpretation of different points of view, as well as the results of an analysis or research in the field from the theoretical perspective of communication sciences;
- Making connections between knowledge, skills and skills acquired through the study of communication and their application in solving and evaluating problem situations.
